The government set the 2027 figures on 14 September 2026 (Dz.U. 2026 poz. 1213). Until 31 December 2026 the 2026 figures below still apply.

Minimum wage: 2026 and 2027

Contract2026From 1 January 2027
Umowa o pracę — per month, gross4806 zł4950 zł
Umowa o pracę — roughly in hand≈ 3606 zł≈ 3704 zł
Umowa zlecenie — per hour, gross31,40 zł32,30 zł
Umowa zlecenie — per hour, roughly in hand24,66–25,36 zł25,36–26,08 zł

One rise a year, on 1 January: 144 zł more a month gross and about 98 zł more in hand. The hourly take-home depends on the voluntary sickness contribution — the lower figure is with it, the higher without. The history since 2023 and a one-minute check of your own rate are in the minimum wage guide.

Night supplement: what one night hour adds

The supplement is 20% of the hourly rate derived from the minimum wage — not from your own rate — and it is paid on top of the normal pay for the hour. Because the monthly norm changes from month to month, so does the figure.

Month2026From 2027
Range across the year5,22–6,01 zł5,63–6,88 zł
Month with the fewest working hours6,01 zł (norm 160 h)6,88 zł (norm 144 h)
Month with the most working hours5,22 zł (norm 184 h)5,63 zł (norm 176 h)

The exact figure for every monthly norm, and how the norm is worked out, are in the night shift guide.

Overtime supplements

You are paid your normal rate for the hour plus a supplement. Which supplement depends only on when the hour fell.

When you worked itSupplement
Beyond the daily norm on an ordinary working day50%
At night100%
On a Sunday or public holiday that was not your scheduled working day100%
On a day off given in exchange for working a Sunday or holiday100%

The percentages do not change in 2027; they apply to your own hourly rate. An hour at 50% pays 1.5x your rate in total, and at 100% it pays double.

What changes on 1 January 2027, and what does not

What changes is the amounts: the minimum monthly pay, the minimum hourly rate on zlecenie and, through them, the night supplement. If you are paid exactly the minimum, the first payslip that covers January 2027 should show the new figure.

What does not change is the rules. Overtime is still 50% or 100%, night is still 20%, and a night hour that is also an overtime hour still earns both supplements.

The minimum is a floor, not a raise for everyone. If your rate is already above it, nothing has to change on 1 January.

Check your first payslip of 2027

  1. Find the gross monthly figure, or the hourly rate on zlecenie, and compare it with 4950 zł a month (32,30 zł an hour). Below that is a reason to ask questions.
  2. Count the night hours you worked and multiply them by the night supplement for that month.
  3. Check the overtime lines: 50% for an ordinary day, 100% for night, Sunday and public holiday hours.
  4. If a line is missing, work out the difference and ask for it in writing. The National Labour Inspectorate (PIP) advises workers free of charge.
This page has a date on it for a reason. The minimum changes every 1 January and the night supplement moves with it. A stale number here would be worse than none at all, because someone will make a decision on it — the review date at the top of the page tells you when it was last checked.

Common questions

Does the 2027 minimum apply to me if I am on zlecenie?

Yes. The same rule that covers an employment contract covers zlecenie: 31,40 zł until 31 December 2026 and 32,30 zł from 1 January 2027, both gross, that is before contributions.

Do I get the new night supplement before January?

No. Until 31 December 2026 the 2026 supplement applies — 5,22–6,01 zł an hour depending on the month. The new one covers hours worked from 1 January 2027.

Will my rate rise to 32,30 zł by itself?

If your rate is below the new minimum, your employer has to raise it to at least the minimum from 1 January 2027. If it is already above, nothing has to change — the minimum is a floor, not a raise for everyone.

Are the take-home figures exact?

No, they are approximate. The exact amount depends on your contributions, tax relief and, on zlecenie, the voluntary sickness contribution. Check against the gross figure on your payslip.
